The winners of the 2021 Sureserve Academy Awards for training and development have been chosen!

     

The Group's ongoing commitment to fostering talent and expertise within the business ensures that the quality of our people is the driving force behind our success and our plans for the future. The nominations we've received from across the Group have demonstrated our colleagues' dedication and exceptional attitude during their courses of training and development, and we would like to thank them all for all that they've brought to the Group during the year.

  

 

 

Overall Winner Academy Awards 2021

Marcus Piper
Gas engineering, Level 3, K&T Heating

"Marcus has shown extreme determination from day 1 of starting with K&T Heating. Last year Marcus came within the top 10 apprentices in the country in the Screwfix National Apprenticeship Awards which was some achievement in his first year."

 

 

 

 

Winner - Aaron Services

Cody Stevens
Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician, Level 3

"One of the most enthusiastic young apprentices to join Aaron in many years, Cody displays a willingness to learn and improve himself and by the time his apprenticeship comes to an end, he will be a very competent Heating Engineer."

Lindsey Jackson

CIPD, Level 5

"Lindsey has ensured the business was compliant, kept employee morale going through many organised competitions/Teams/Zoom events, and also completed her CIPD Level 5 whilst juggling home schooling with her step son.  She is an exemplary member of the HR team."

Infrastructure Technician, Level 3

"Ewan's approach to resolving problems and his customer service is second to none. On top of his excellent standard 
of work he's consistent and thorough with his Apprenticeship studies, and he's clearly someone who has the desire to achieve great things in his career."

 

 

 

 

Winner - Precision Lifts

James Down

NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Lift Engineering

"James is someone you can count on who always give 110%, regardless of the task set. James always provides support for the new engineers and will sit down with them and explain the best way forward. James is an excellent role model and team player."

Pawel Slobodzian

Business Administrator, Level 3

"Pawel has completed one apprenticeship course, is now onto his second apprenticeship course, and has been promoted within the Commercial team. Pawel’s hard work and commitment has clearly shown how it can pay off with his promotion and value to the business."

 

 

 

 

Winner - Sure Maintenance

Callum McDougall

Gas engineering, Level 3

"Callum is currently an Apprentice on the Barrow contract and was furloughed recently. Having completed his college work he then asked the other engineers for further reading material in order to learn more whilst he was at home. He has shown dedication and is now applying it to his everyday work. "

"Since joining Sureserve Fire and Electrical, Kevin has shown great commitment and devotion to both the company and his self-improvement."
